The client requested a general redesign of its website, at the level of information architecture, as well as at the level of design and accessibility. Regarding this last point, much importance was given since the end users of MJN Neuro products suffer from a disability that can sometimes make it difficult for them to use digital products.

Context

// Problem

A website that is completely outdated in terms of accessibility and with a clear problem in the information architecture.

// Solution

The great solution is often the simplest, test, test and test. Proper organization of how information is presented is crucial to avoid frustrated users and abandonment in the purchasing process.

Returning to the basics of the project, and understanding what the true objective of the website and the business is, are essential to establish the work strategy.

Research

Research from all possible starting points was essential in this project to create a platform that would work in the long term. Being an emerging company, we knew that in the future it would include new sections and products, so the new interface was thought and designed so that the website was functional and accessible even if the business grew. Testing every step we took was more than necessary to avoid making previous mistakes.

Ideation

With all the information collected and with little room for changes in the visual design, all the screens and paths were rethought in order to give the greatest fluidity to the website.

Visual language

At a visual level, the information was distributed in such a way that it was the most clickable for the user, that is, it was created thinking at all times that the user would have maximum control over their actions and informing them at all times of the context in which they are located, in order to avoid possible errors in the tasks.

Conclusion

A great research work in this project allowed us to make the necessary modifications in the most accurate way possible to the real market requests.
